If you live in Japan and planning to buy a windows phone for some reason, well today is your lucky day. Lenovo has partnered with Japanese tech conglomerate SoftBank to release its first Windows 10 phone, off-course its not a flagship device but enough for most users. Device will be called the SoftBank 503LV for some reason. Some specs for the handset:

  • 5-inch 720p display
  • 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor
  • 32GB of storage (expandable up to 128GB with microSD card)
  • 3GB of RAM
  • 8MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera
  • 2,250mAh battery

The 503LV is targeted at businesses, which makes sense given its awful name. The reception of the 503LV may determine if the company begins to push Windows 10 Mobile to the consumer market in Japan, though it’s hard to see Microsoft grabbing a mobile foothold in Japan at this point. The 503LV will be available in late October.
