The Cupertino-based iPhone maker announced recently that AirPods are available to order online now from Apple.com. The tech company will begin delivering the AirPods to consumers, Apple authorized resellers, select carriers, and Apple Stores beginning next week. The wireless headphones introduce an amazing listening experience packed with long battery life and high-quality audio.

Experience wireless audio with AirPods

The wireless headphones use advanced tech to reinvent how we make phone calls, play games, interact with Siri, listen to music and enjoy movies and TV shows. The AirPods offer a wireless audio experience that was not possible before. Setting up and using wireless headphones has never been simpler with AirPods. The set-up of AirPods is quite easy – you just have to open the charging case near your iPhone and with a single click, AirPods are immediately set up with all the devices signed into your iCloud account, including Apple Mac, iPad, and Apple Watch.

The advanced sensors of your device detect when the wireless headphones are in the user’s ear. AirPods can automatically pause and play the music. You can activate Siri by double tapping on AirPods. This will let you access your favorite personal assistant to make and receive calls, get directions, select and control your music, and perform any other task with the help of Siri.

The new ultra-low power Apple W1 chip allows this revolutionary experience. The technology allows the wireless headphones to deliver industry-leading battery life and high-quality audio. The headphones can deliver around 5 hours of listening time on a single charge and the custom-designed charging case can hold extra charges for overall 24 hours of listening time, ensuring that the wireless headphones are charged and ready to use whenever you want.

Where are the AirPods available? What about Beats X?

The iPhone maker-designed AirPods are available for $159 (US), including charging case. You can buy the headphones from Apple.com today. The Silicon Valley giant will begin delivering AirPods to customers next week. At launch, the headphones will be shipped by the smartphone maker in limited quantities. Consumers are advised to check online for updates on estimated delivery dates and availability of AirPods. The Apple Stores will, however, receive regular AirPod shipments.

The headphones are available in more than 100 territories and countries including Netherlands, France, Germany, India, China, Hong Kong, Mexico, Japan, UAE, the UK, Australia, the U.S. and Canada. AirPods require devices running the most recent version of macOS Sierra, iOS 10, or watchOS 3.

The tech giant is delaying the launch of its Beats X wireless earbuds until February, which is around five months after the iPhone maker first announced them. The smartphone making giant confirmed the timeline for the $149.95 wireless earbuds on its website, however, we still are not certain about the release date of Beats X.
