Want to buy a new Android smartphone and confused about what to buy? You have come to the right place. In this article, we are revealing the best phones – Android smartphones only – of 2017. The phones are either already released or they will be pretty soon.

Here are the five smartphones that you can choose from –

LG G6 (Not in market yet) – The LG G6 made its debut in MWC 2017. The phone was the new ‘bezel-light’ flagship of LG for this year. LG requires a win after the failure it went through LG G5, and LG G6 could be the solution to all its problems, given the features of the upcoming phone.

The features of the LG G6 involve wireless charging, a Snapdragon 821 chipset, a 3,300 mAh battery, Android Nougat, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, USB-C, and Google Assistant. The phone has really thin bezels which let the 5.7-inch display fit into the phone accurately. For making the phone water and dust resistant, LG has made some room for IP68 protection by removing modular components. There is no information on the price but the LG G6 looks like a great device.

BlackBerry KeyOne (Not in market yet) – The BlackBerry KeyOne made its debut at the Mobile World Congress this year as well. Formerly, the device was known as ‘Mercury.’ The smartphone was also teased at CES 2017 but BlackBerry and TCL finally announced the smartphone at MWC. The smartphone makers confirmed all the specs that we already reported at iStartup before, even the price and expected release month.

The KeyOne features a Snapdragon 625 chipset, a 4.5-inch display, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. The 4.5 inch display does sound small and the small size is because the phone comes with a full physical QWERTY keyboard – just like the classic phones of BlackBerry. Pre-orders of this phone are open now and it could come as early as next month.

HTC U Ultra – HTC announced two new phones earlier this year and one of them was the flagship-caliber HTC U Ultra. The phone features a 5.7-inch QHD display, a glass-on-glass impressive design and great specs like a 3,000 mAh battery, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64 or 128GB of internal storage. Further, the HTC U Ultra offers Android Nougat and comes in several colors, including Sapphire Blue Ice White, Brilliant Black, and Cosmetic Pink.

Google Pixel/Pixel XL – The android phones that got the most hype this year were Google Pixel and Pixel XL. Both the phones are designed by the search giant and they come with the best features like the Snapdragon 821 chipset, 12.3MP camera on the back, 4GB of RAM and 32 or 128GB of storage. The phone is great in terms of performance, overall experience and stability. In addition to this, the phones have 24/7 support of the ads giant, Google’s all new Daydream VR experience support and unlimited full resolution photo and video backups.

Huawei Mate 9 – The Mate 9 was launched by the china-based phone maker in the United States market at the CES 2017. The smartphone comes at the reasonable price of $599 and packs greats features like great aluminum design, a 5.9-inch 1080p display, an in-house Kirin 960 chipset of Huawei, Android Nougat, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. Further, the smartphone has the most recent version of EMUI software skin.
