India is not the largest market of Apple’s iPhone devices but it is still an emerging one. The Cupertino-based iPhone making giant is making available its Red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in the country by the end of this week. The Indian customers will soon be able to make the purchase of the brand new red version of flagship smartphone of the Silicon Valley giant.

Red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus: Pricing details and release date

According to the reports of Indian news sites, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are expected to hit the retails shops in the country as early as the coming Friday. Croma is already taking the pre-orders for the new RED iPhone 7 and 7 Plus of the tech giant but now the leading premium resellers (based in Delhi, India) including FutureWorld and iWorld are expected to get the new units in a week’s time as well, reports Indian Express.

Earlier, it was thought that this special edition smartphone of the Cupertino-based iPhone making giant would be restricted to premium resellers of Apple and some high-street retailers but now it looks like a few non-premium resellers will be selling the special edition red devices as well. The premium retailers as well as non-premium resellers are expecting the stocks soon.

Originally, the iPhone 7 – which was released last year in September – was limited to gold, silver, rose gold, jet black and black but a red version of the flagship smartphone of the tech giant was announced last month along with the updated iPhone SE with bumped-up storage and a new 9.7-inch iPad. We reported about the flagship iPhone 7 and 7 Plus smartphones last month as well. The new (PRODUCT) red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus was brought with a purpose as well – to raise knowledge about HIV and AIDS charity.

The (PRODUCT) Red iPhone availability and price

On March 24, the new (PRODUCT) RED iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus went on sale across the world in the United States, the UK, the mainland Europe, Canada, China and Australia. The red smartphone – which is only available for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus for now – will be available in more than 40 countries.

Previously, the Silicon Valley company has said that the smartphones will be available in India in April. The special edition phone – available in red color – symbolizes the more than a decade partnership between AIDS charity (RED) and Apple. AIDS charity (RED) was founded by activist Bobby Shriver and U2 frontman Bono. The largest corporate donor to the Global Fund is the tech giant, which has contributed over $130 million in the past ten years as part of its partnership with AIDS Charity (RED). In India, the new iPhones are 128GB or 256GB models, starting at the price of Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 82,000.
