The camera of the iPhone is pretty important, for some the iPhone’s most important and arguably the best feature is its camera. Even for the Cupertino-based iPhone maker – Apple Inc. – its camera is very crucial, which is why it recently released a new website that includes instructions plus videos on ‘how to click better pictures.’

Here is what Apple is doing to improve its camera

The Silicon Valley giant has employed hundreds of engineers who are currently working on improving the camera abilities of its iPhone, iPad and other flagship products. The iPhone becomes an even better device for photography with each generation. It looks like the tech giant is not just upgrading the iPhone camera but it also wants to teach its users how to take awesome photos with the smartphone device.

This week, instead of launching new “shot on iPhone” ads, the tech giant posted five clips on YouTube that can teach the user some basic tricks for capturing better photos with their iPhone device. Currently, the iPhone 7 series of the tech giant has the best camera experience but the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus aren’t equals. The iPhone 7, which has a 5.5-inch screen display, comes with a dual lens camera with an exclusive portrait mode which is not available on any other iPhone.

Out of the five clips that the tech giant posted on the video streaming giant – YouTube – and its new website, one of them will assist the user in taking better picture only if they have the smartphone device. The upcoming iPhone – the iPhone 8 – is going to come with dual lens cameras as well.

Apple’s camera use tutorials

The lessons uploaded by the U.S.-based iPhone maker giant are not every long, only over 40 seconds each. Also, the video clips teach you exactly what you need to learn, which means the videos do not go off the point and are not lingering. Also, how lingering can a video get if it is just 40 seconds long?

Each video teaches the user a given skill, and mostly an iPhone is used in the clip. The things that you can learn through these clips are:

  • How to shoot without a flash on iPhone 7
  • How to shoot a vertical Pano on iPhone 7
  • How to shoot action on iPhone 7
  • How to shoot a close-up on iPhone 7
  • How to shoot a great portrait on iPhone 7 Plus
