Apple – the Cupertino-based iPhone making giant – that was planning to create a car a few years ago is keeps things in a slow run now and working on the tech that allows the car to drive itself. At an interview with Bloomberg in June, Timothy D. Cook, the chief executive officer of the company, said that the tech company is “focusing on autonomous systems.”

One of the popular symbols is the self-driving shuttle service, which ferries employees from one building of the tech giant to another building. The shuttle has never been reported before and will likely be a commercial vehicle from the Silicon Valley giant and an automaker. The tech giant will use the shuttle to test the autonomous driving technology that it is developing.
In an interview to The New York Times, five people familiar with the car project of the Cupertino-based iPhone maker, which is dubbed “Titan” discussed the steps that allowed the tech giant to move from creating a self-driving Apple car to a technology that someone else builds for a vehicle. The five people, who spoke on the condition that they would remain anonymous said that they were not authorized to talk publicly about the plans of the tech giant.
The testing vehicles of the tech giant will carry employees between the several Silicon Valley offices of Apple. The new effort of the search giant is called PAIL, which means “Palo Alto” to Infinite Loop, which is the address of the main office of the company
