Apple’s iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X has been the talk of town since the annual iPhone launch event of the Cupertino-based company. People mostly care about the iPhone X and some don’t even care about the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. Well here’s the review of the phone –
The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus do not have the edge-to-edge display, the entirely new interface patterns, the complete redesign without the home button and the facial-recognition system that the iPhone X have but it has other things that make it stand out among other iPhones. The two phones share same camera setups, a wireless charging capability and a processor just like the X.
People who do not want to pay $999 for an iPhone X, can buy either of the two iPhones. The iPhone 8 is arguably the fourth gen of the iPhone 6, which many loyal fans of Apple still have. There has not been an “all-new design” for the two phones but you can have that with the iPhone X. The glass back is good but people are reporting scratches already so it may not be as “strong” as the iPhone making company says. Also, you may want to know that your iPhone 7 and 7 Plus cases will perfectly on these new phones so there you saved some money.
The new smartphones comes in three colors, which are gold, silver and space grey.
The iPhone making company has added True Tone tech to the iPhone 8 display, which makes the phone’s display look way better. The upgraded stereo speakers of the iPhone 8 are amazing, with the sound over 25% louder now. Now, you can hear the actual stereo separation – incredible isn’t it?
Bluetooth has now been updated to Bluetooth 5. The iPhone 8 comes with wireless charging, thanks to glass back. In addition to this, the smartphone supports fast charging. According to the tech company, the 29W USB-C MacBook charger is best charger for your smartphone because it will charge over 50% in just 30 minutes.
There are new video modes –
- 60fps 4K shooting
- 240fps 1080p slow motion.
Portrait lighting is the best feature in the iPhone 8 Plus when it comes to camera. It has pro lighting setups with presets dubbed Stage, Studio, and Contour. The feature is still in its beta stage so expect some more changes in future
You will find the all new A11 Bionic processor inside the new smartphone by Apple. The iPhone X has the same chip. A11 is lightning-fast and great in performance. It is actually the first chip to have an Apple-designed GPU inside and according to experts, the chip is faster than the A10 Fusion in the lower-end 13-inch MacBook Pros and the iPad Pro.
